To answer to your questions, I use 0.97 too, and yes I am the one with the
128MB gateway. Concerning my first question, I disabled the mempool ; I
should then have no problem having 2 databases at the same time. Do you
think the functionality of asynchronous database reload could be added in
the future versions ? It seems that it could also be interesting for
configuration with more memory.
