It happened, of course. First, it wasn't the purpose of the update anyway: the system was probably already compromised. Second, it happened with workstations: most of the time the used had simply to seat to another table to get back to work. Also, if one has a couple of clustered servers and one gets scrambled, the other may keep working. If you send a remote kill to a clustered system, every and each member of the cluster stop working. See how's different? You are putting at the same level an occasional, unwanted broke and a targeted kill, but they are not the same thing.
