Hi, I guess I just don't know why you want to stick with Imake, but hey - knock yourself out. I'm not sure what you mean by 'adopt imake' though. I really do intend to get rid of it altogether as soon as I can. autotools has it's issues, but imake is seriously dead technology. The autotools-conversion branch already builds most of CDE (aside from dtinfo, dtksh and the documentation subsystem). I would think getting that going on these older systems would be more fruitful, but of course what you want to do is up to you :) Please feel free to submit patches for CDE, they are good quality. Don't worry about any further ksh93 issues though - I intend to incorporate Chase's ksh replacement into master soon. I am sure the ksh93 maintainer would appreciate your contributions.
