Since everything seems to have compiled except documentation, I went ahead installing CDE.
Back to lightdm and I login to CDE. Desktop starts (it goes past the dthello) and starts the panel, the help viewer and in a couple of seconds it crashes. It freezes. Is it possible it was that old Xorg bug that makes it freeze? How do I fix? System is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with LTSP. Xorg is 7.5.
