Quite possibly white ones do. But thenso do fluorescent lamps which were often recomended as a mains strobe light source 40 years ago. But having used white LEDs to make a stroboscope flashing 100 or 120 times a second, I will assure you there's enough change in intensity between 'on' and 'off'' to give a very clear pattern of the strobe markings even with normal room illumination also on. -tony
