That totally makes sense. I never got into the //gs and that kind of frames it: I'd rather just use a //e (which is still late for me) or a ][+ but that's because I first used them back in the Integer BASIC days (and watched friends do the DOS 3.2->3.3 conversion) then used them heavily in 1984.
