Hi All,
After I have been through the practice lab. I noticed that I
face the term that refer to the speed of the link. I have jotted it down
here. Any more inputs are appreciated.
DS1 = 1.544MB
DS3 = 45 MB
OC3 = 155 MB
OC12 = 622 MB
OC48 = 2.5GB
OC192 = 10 GB
I try to find the reference in univercd. As follow;
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/r70docs/r70ref
mn/r70spcx.htm#wp1071265
Go to univercd -->
Optical Networking Systems
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/index.htm>
Cisco ONS 15454 SONET
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/index.htm>
Cisco ONS 15454 User Documentation, Release 7.0
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/r70docs/index
.htm>
Cisco ONS 15454 Reference Manual, Release 7.0
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/r70docs/r70re
fmn/index.htm>
Appendix A, Hardware Specifications
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/ong/15400/r70docs/r70re
fmn/r70spcx.htm>
I have found that the exactly number is in the decimal
notation amount. Not the full amount as I list above.
Such DS3 = Bit rate: 44.736 Mbps +/- 20 ppm
OC3 = Bit rate: 155.52 Mbps
OC12 = Bit rate: 622.08 Mbps
But most of the practice lab that I have done, The solution
use full amount. What will u use for the real lab?
Regards,
Marut
