Kim is on the money here.

One of the simple memory aids I use is for compatible ospf network types is
that they require "point" or "broadcast" in the type on both ends of the
link to form a full adjacency with routing exchange

Once you have that, you can look at timers, ospf priority, stub bit,
netmask etc if required.
