If IP multicast routing is not enabled, multicast should still propagate within the VLAN correct? Is there anything that would prevent this multicast from flowing across a trunk? I have a situation where servers in the same VLAN, but plugged into different switches are not able to communicate by multicast. Can anyone explain why this might be?
