Gauvan, I had early formatted 2801 flash a loaded a newer IOS that after reload seemed I think corrupt or something that the router dint boot. I tried loading IOS from rommon but to no avail. Have just swapped it to an already booted 2801 router , formatted it and slotted it back to its router, but stil not booting. Infact at this time not even able to get to rommon just funny characters on console screen when I hit enter. Slotting the working flash with IOS, still not working, just sys pwr blinking continuously.
