Anyhow, so far I have installed Ubuntu. Here are the steps for that. I assume that you know how to burn a bootable CD from the image you downloaded. If not, follow the steps in Ubuntu's download page. You can also refer here: http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm Once you have a CD with ubuntu, boot with that disk and the process is very straight forward from there. Answer a few questions and you should be all set. Where are you? I am in the US.
