Thank you for the comment.  Yes, I would recommend the LICW 
<https://longislandcwclub.org/>.  It has become routine for me to join a few of 
the classes weekly and see many of the same friendly faces from all around the 
US & the world.  

In the classes, we practice CW QSO protocol, copying callsigns, sending & 
copying jokes on CW, all in a laid back atmosphere with no pressure.  So 
practicing becomes part one’s routine, sorta like the old TV show “Cheers” 
where “everybody knows your name”.
