If I can work Costa Rica with my dipole maybe I stand a chance to work
Cocos Island. I hope I hope. What bands so they plan to operate and
how long will they be there?

True enough Jonathan, but at least you can't rotate your house to the
wrong direction. Cocos Island is near enough that you should be able
to work them, but a directional antenna and or amplifier is always
nice. I am without a good directional antenna these days, but if the
rain will hold off for a while I may be able to fix that.

I just want to point that that, for some of us, adjusting the antenna
involves rotating the house.
