well in some applications if you lean the vertical a few degrees opposite the
Dx wished to contact twards the ground it will help push the signal for the
contact on the projected path...sorta oblong the omni path. Worked for me a
time or 2 when I use to run a vertical on 10 M. Just one of my adhock guber
tricks.
