Yes it would, and having had discussion with some infra folks, creating yet another sub-domain for a one off landing page seems overkill; and as these build services are internal after all (i.e projects are not supposed to advertise snapshots etc to general public, build results are of only dev interest etc..) we do not a pretty url. So, I'll go ahead with either ci.html as suggested, or I found http://apache.org/dev/nightly-builds.html which I'm not sure what to do with - re-use it as the landing page, bin it, leave it for some other use?
