That seems reasonable. Setting an active translator does not necessarily entail starting it, but unless there is a mode of using settrans I've forgotten, settrans -a does always start an active translator. "Start NODE's active translator" might seem to imply that it just activates (i.e. starts) the translator already set (i.e. passive) on NODE. "Start TRANSLATOR and set it as NODE's active translator" might be more clear, though perhaps too long.
