Well, he said he would be available for questions and would provide his
current working tree. As one of the main debian-installer guys, he
could also be very valuable in actually getting the code in.
He seems to be too busy to do the adminstrative legwork though.
If we could find some other (Debian) developer, who is somewhat familiar
with d-i and a good coder, as well as happy to be a mentor, this could
still work out I think.
Sure, I already mailed debian-boot and debian-hurd lists searching for someone with d-i and code knowlodge but any awnser was give yet.
