Okay. Thanks to the assistance from this list, I now have BRLTTY 4.3 up
and running!
However, the loaner Alva BC 680 is still not producing braille for me to
read...
So I ran the following: sudo brltty -bal -v
These are the lines of output that appear to describe the problem:
brltty: USB configuration set error 22: Invalid argument.
brltty: USB configuration descriptor not found: 1
Does anyone have a clue what these messages mean and how I can resolve them?
Since this is a loaner machine, I don't want to get too creative at
changing what is on the flash memory of the display itself.
That appears to be the contents of the disk that comes int he box with
all the Windows and Mac drivers... Hm...
Could that be affecting my Linux brltty's communication with the machine?
Thanks for any heads up anyone can give!
If anyone else is using the BC680 with BRLTTY and Orca who would like to
give me an idiot level tutorial so I can get the machine up and running
while I have it here, I would appreciate. You can reply to me privately at:
tamara.8...@comcast.net
Thanks again!
Tami
