Hi, everybody.
I have my hands on a loaner Alva BC680 which I am trying to get working
with my laptop via USB connection.
I am running Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric 64-bit
Orca 3.2.1
Speech-Dispatcher for the speech system
eSpeak for the synthesizer
BRLTTY 4.2
BrlAPI 0.5.5
I have liblouis installed, too.
I tried installing BRLTTY 4.3 from the tarball, but... that's not
working for me with Oneiric. The Alva driver with 4.2 doesn't seem to
include the BC680... The driver with 4.3 clearly does.
Anyway, I want to get on using this wonder machine while I have it, but
I have myself well and truly stuck.
Any assistance would be so appreciate!
