Possibly, but it's something which you have to consider - sometimes 
"help" doesn't actually "help" several generations down the line and 
you end up with a horrible mess. Look at the "help" people have given 
in the Balklans, for example.

There's a difference between putting your group first in 
consideration, and a group which advocates a system of laws 
incompatible with the law of the land and treats other groups 
harshly. And it's an issue when a minority of the group, usually the 
young men, is very much reprisented in certain types of crime because 
of their beliefs.
 
My ancestry is, I believe, part Russian Jewish and part Polish 
Jewish. But we don't know for sure. And I'd point out that as 
minority we don't tend to go out causing trouble (it comes to us, but 
that's another rant).
