For children, you can buy fluoridated drinking water (IME, most commonly
labelled as "nursery water") and you can ask your child's pediatrician to
prescribe a daily fluoride suspension or pill.

In fact, some places don't add fluorine to the water; Arlington, MA was one
such place when I was little, so I had to take a little pink pill every day
for as far back as I can remember, and my younger sister got a dropperful of
fluoride drops until she was old enough for the pink pills.

Oh, and if you're getting your water from a well, chances are *that's* not
fluoridated, either.  :)  (Guess what our water situation was when we left
Arlington?)
