Had no use for Jadzia the Macho, Jadzia "I
can do anything you can do". Her endless love tussles with Worf (whom I liked very much). I wish she had left the show much earlier, then we
could've enjoyed Ezri (sp?) for more than one season.
I did like the Dax/symibont aspect.
Yeah, Jadzia was very macho and very interested in showing herself to be as capable as anyone else. Also, in some of her personal life as explored during the relationship with Worf, she is sort of the "Federation Party Girl (tm)" :-) Definitely not afraid of having a good time.
But I have always liked really strong female characters, and she's definitely strong, quite female, and definitely a character, in more ways than one...
A lot of people didn't like Ezri because she wasn't as strong and brash as Jadzia (my wife included). A lot of people felt like you, that Ezri was a much more interesting character. Me, I liked 'em both. IDIC :-)
