I'll add my voice to the chorus. I don't like the tag either since it plays havoc on the sorting options in Netscape and made my life a bit more difficult. I now have to manually find all messages in a certain thread. It isn't much extra work for long threads, it's the short ones that relatively cost more time to sort out now.
