I have no problem admitting when I am wrong, and like every one I sometimes inadvertantly say something in a incorrect way. In this case, I can tell you that I didn't look down on anyone, and I see no reason to apologize for what I wrote. I don't normally answer such questions in the first place, and your email is the kind of response that discourages and demotivates Open Source developers.
