David Boyes is trying to talk Kern into ;-) implementing configuration
settings that allow for a list of media types and different lists for
read/write operations. I guess that, in the end, it wuill be
implemented, but it might happen sooner if someone started coding - this
seems no to have a high priority for Kern...
I thought about this some time ago and the only real conclusion I came
to was that it was easiest to only use higher capacity drives.
It does make upgrading more expensive though.
Indeed, but it creates a nice market for used tape drives :-)
