The throw in an entirely different wrench into these gears, has anyone seen a comprehensive write-up on how 2.6 module handling is different than 2.4? I had to move to using 2.6.1 as getting some USB networking stuff (ax8817x-based) working just wasn't happening. Now I'm in hell trying to figure out how to cajole ALSA to do it's thing with some isapnp cards.
