So am I understanding you correctly that this is true for _all_ ice1712 based cards? i.e. the MAudio Delta ones too? .. Is there any other high end (kindof) recording card that can be recommended? I only need 2 channels (preferably in/out in analog and digital) but those in best possible quality for the analog channels. Or would I maybe fare better with a dirt cheap digital card and use a good external AD/DA Converter? > one of the workaround is to start the application with the higher (RT) > priority, so that it gets scheduled at the right time. > also, using a sound server running with the RT priority, other apps > can run with the normal priority. > Yep, doing that already .. but it's not always sufficient in order to get uninterrupted playback/recording ... -- Michael Hellwig aka The Eye olymp.idle.at admin check out http://homepage.uibk.ac.at/~csaa5128 for gpg public key and don't hesitate to look at http://laerm.or.at ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
