Cool - thanks for the input. I look forward to the review with your new laptop! I'll be using it mostly with my workstation. Most of the trouble people seem to be having with the Quattro on the Internet seem to be with the win32/mac drivers, so those problems probably don't apply to ALSA :) The Duo seems to be well-received all around.
