Problem is, if you're on a laptop you don't have much choice but to run USB 1.1. You could get one of the highly expensive PCMCIA cards like the RME, but other than that, there isn't a decent solution but USB 1.1. Regaring the Quattro: There are lots of docs on http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/ Scroll down to the Quattro entry. I ordered a Edirol UA-20 and will speak up here soon, when it arrives.
