Hi, I have a cmi 8738 card and would like to use the spdif in/out features. The driver from cmi is not ready for this, so I downloaded the last CVS version of alsa; 2002-01-11.tar.bz2, compiled it,
inserted the module trying "playback_spdif=yes" or "spdif_enable=yes" with no success. Is this feature planned for a near future ? I would be ready to give you money for this, as I really need this to copy my mp3 to MD (personnal use).
