Not true. At least, depending on how the R101 case turns out, not necessarily true. If equity settlements can be imposed in general, we've also found that contracts can allow one person to act on behalf of another. An equity case can include: "If Party A fails to act as this equity settlement states, the judge can act on Party A's behalf to do so." I've been planning to use this method for future enforcement, I don't know if anyone else has thought of it but it seems pretty straightforward. -Goethe
