Pepsi is the first company using them and wants more, a lot more.   Truck drivers that get to drive them for work love them.   Driving one over the most common long route is over the Truckee summit and the drivers love them over their old trucks.

The worst part of driving our RV ( 40K Lbs ) is downhill more than 5-6% without enough exhaust break ( designed that way ).   Driving downhill with an EV is trivial.  That is one of the most loved parts of driving a Tesla Semi.   Massive torque and massive electrical breaking.

Tesla Semi is shipping. The people driving them love them, but of course they would. Normal truck drivers shit all over it, but they're more of the roll coal mindset, so anything electric is garbage to them.

How is the Tesla Semi doing?  Unlike the Robovan, it already exists, doesn’t it?

I remember a review early on that said the designers must have never talked to an actual semi driver.  But maybe the intent is to have them be driverless.

Robovan seems like a better idea to me than the stupid Cybertruck.  As far as the taxi, it seems to me Waymo has been walking the walk while Tesla talks the talk. Millions of miles of experience on the road probably count for more than glitzy demos and hype.  But honestly the Chinese will probably beat them all at the driverless taxi game.
