So the altitude is put at approx 500km/300miles..   I wonder what power levels the xmitters are at for that distance.   Of course they are only dealing with 10 miles of atmosphere but still a bunch of dispersion of beam from that distance.   It's got to be interesting figuring out what the interference looks like from 1000 transmitters beaming back up when it gets busy down there vs up there...
