One other thing, this isn't a Lite AP (limited to 10 SMs), is it? There is a
bug where enabling SM Auto Update doesn't work until something like 16.0.1.1.
Can be frustrating.

I've generally gone to at least the first major version number, as the
increment in major version has indicated some serious design change. So taking
your example, I would have gone from 13.x, to the first 14.x, then to the first
15.x, then the first 16.x.
