This just means it is not supported in 8.1. Microsoft isn't releasing anything new on these OSes either and TSM 7.1 (with xp and 2008 support) will still be around for quite a while. I remember carrying around win2003 for a long long time on TSM 6.3 (which is still supported by the way)
