Happy to brag that the article won the best paper award at the 2002 Usenix Security Symposium. Thank you, Ron, for calling out the uniqueness of factotum. It's one piece of Plan 9 that, despite the recognition then, hasn't migrated to the mainstream. SSH (or ssh-agent) has never felt as good to me.
