If plans are important to you, then I suggested that you write to your local congressman and express your concern.
Otherwise plans are stymied by a severely faltering economy, a failing banking system, and unpredictable government response.
At this point we should be happy that Sun has reiterated its support for OpenSolaris and ZFS during these difficult times.
