Yes, we have replaced the old <figure> content model by the new <figure> content model in XXE v7.2. Therefore the bug you have reported should be fixed.

In my previous email, I tried to explain that, using a W3C XML schema[*], there is no way to faithfully represent the grammar of XHTML5 as specified in https://www.w3.org/TR/html5/. A W3C XML schema can only be a good approximation.
