The luatex team's philosophy (AIUI) does not favor the integration of
libraries such as these. However, there's nothing (in principle) to
prevent you implementing Graphite and AAT engines in Lua and thus
supporting Graphite and AAT fonts within luatex. Just a SMOP. :)
