Version 0.5 of xltxtra had incorrect parameters for metalogo; this
was fixed in version 0.5a. (And then a bug was fixed in 0.5b.)
The current release on CTAN requires a new version of fontspec, so
you probably don't want update everything from there. I've attached
the .sty file for v0.5b; I hope this fixes the problem for you.
