I disagree. Not only are the GOPers going to take both chambers by a
comfortable margin, but after the economy recovers (on its own with no help
from Congress), the Teabaggers are going to be hailed as the best thing since
sliced bread. Since none of them are going to want to do anything about
Citizens United, their corporate masters will continue to buy them elected
office for life.

I'm calling it (but only here): GOP takes the House by about five seats.
House reverts to Democratic control in 2012, when half the Tea Partiers who
actually thought they could make a difference run afoul of Behnor and Cantor a
collective one too many times and decide not to run for re-election; and most
of the rest are voted out for not changing the country in two years' time.

GOP pickup of about three in the Senate. People are willing to take a flyer
on crazy for a two-year House term, but the six-year term will give people
pause.

When aggregated from all races across the country, the electorate will be
split 50-50 down party lines. The more out-there the exit poll question, the
more likely it will be to have exactly 20% agreement from those canvassed.

In the end, the news narrative will be, "We were right, but not as right as
we thought we were going to be. What's up with that, voters? Don't you know
you're supposed to play along?"

  In other words, the usual.

Rand Paul Wins Kentucky Senate Race

Rand Paul, a Republican, has defeated Jack Conway, a
Democrat, in the Kentucky Senate race, The New York Times is
    projecting.

Mr. Paul becomes the first of the high-profile Tea Party
candidates to emerge victorious from a nasty and contentious
    campaign.
