I'm calling it (but only here): GOP takes the House by about five seats. House reverts to Democratic control in 2012, when half the Tea Partiers who actually thought they could make a difference run afoul of Behnor and Cantor a collective one too many times and decide not to run for re-election; and most of the rest are voted out for not changing the country in two years' time.
GOP pickup of about three in the Senate. People are willing to take a flyer on crazy for a two-year House term, but the six-year term will give people pause. When aggregated from all races across the country, the electorate will be split 50-50 down party lines. The more out-there the exit poll question, the more likely it will be to have exactly 20% agreement from those canvassed. In the end, the news narrative will be, "We were right, but not as right as we thought we were going to be. What's up with that, voters? Don't you know you're supposed to play along?" In other words, the usual. --Rose On Tue, Nov 2, 2010 at 4:25 PM, Kevin G.
