You do have the full 3.0 RTM release. I haven't yet reproduced the problem, even when calling light multiple times from the same MSBuild instance, but you could try adding the following property to your .wixproj file:
In the main <PropertyGroup> (the one without conditions towards the top of the file) add the following new property: <RunWixToolsOutOfProc>true</RunWixToolsOutOfProc> Please let us know if that seems to cure the issue. So can I assume that their was never a full 3.0 release...? Does anyone know if this has been fixed or if their is a work around. Is the 3.5 range stable enough for production use and does it fix this problem.
