When using a non-released version, it is considered good practice to consistently test building with the latest weekly release and to periodically (monthly?) update your toolset to one of those newer builds to avoid getting caught in an unsupported position as you are now in.
Having said that, unless the toolset features you are depending on have changed form drastically in the past year-and-a-half, chances are the code is (or can be set to be) backward compatible enough that you can continue building patches/minor upgrades/etc. after you account for any and all breaking changes that may have occurred in the authoring of the features you are employing. As I understand it, sourceforge doesn't grant this project a large amount of storage space, and no one I know of rehosts the builds.
