Please do not take this as a personal critique. You wrote "I think" .... So that means you are not sure, which is fine but the answers here are often "I think" that means to me the whole not I'm getting "personal" "crap" of MSI was just invented to make programmers live as hard as possible. There is a whole sorry (brain-dead) machinery needed to get something installed and it's even worse if one get's into the COM or even worse device installation area. Just how many tools do exist for "building" installers? What the hell do we gain with such complex installation voodo?
