I can tell you what it contains. The list of all unicode positions which are covered by the font. Therefore the code will know which font to use for a character with code X. Our scripts in utils/ won't help much unfortunately. There's codeextract which parses the Status.txt of DejaVu and codelist which does the concatenation of a, b, c, d,e into a-b, c, d-e.
