You can get the po files via the web interface to gna[1]. I copied over your files from the 1.4 announcement, so at least some basic stuff should be ready to go. Some of you might notice, that the langcodes can slightly differ from the ones you are used to. That is at least the case for tr (tur.po) and zh_CN (zho.po) and is required to satisfy some of those strange apache rules for automatic language selections. Don't ask me any details about this, this is ettins task... So what should you do now? Just translate those files are you eg translate the manual. You can have a look at the english version of the site in the gna rep[2], the translated pages will be available on wesnoth.org "soon". If you find any typo or grammar mistake, please do report it.
It will at least take one week till 1.6 is announced, so you have some time to work on the text. For your "normal" translations you at least have till Saturday. Everything coming in later "might" be too late for 1.6 since my current plan is to get it out on Sunday (if everything goes right that is!).
