If you go to http://www.wxqa.com/ you will see a link top-center to join CWOP. Once you do that you can use your CWOP ID within Weewx to send weather data to CWOP.
CWOP is the overall system with citizen weather reporting, while APRSWXNET is the packet radio section of CWOP - ham radio operators sending CWOP weather data via packet radio. Two parts of the same puzzle - either way it ends up visible to NOAA/NWS etc. I've thought about connecting up to send via APRS but weewx will already send this data so it seems like a lot of extra work for something I'm already doing.
