First an update:

* Web2py server 1.64.1 on Python 2.5.4.
* Firefox in launcher directed to the server.
* Public domain docs of Web2Py.

The web2py server runs on the 2.5 Python branch upon clicking the
launcher. I could not remove the 2.6 branch without breaking half the
distro. Life is too short for such things.

Massimo,

I totally agree that web2py needs be included on the repositories list
of the major distros. That is where the mind share is. Oddly as I was
looking at the repositories I noticed that webpy is in the main python
branch. Surprised me.

My main purpose in putting the web2py VM together was to provide an
easy means for someone to evaluate Web2Py for development. For that I
aimed at ease of use rather than production secure environment. That
is why autologin, all the same password, etc are implemented.
