Massimo, Back rev to 2.5 no problem. Adding the other three components in will take a couple of days due to work schedule.
Horst, 'apache with mod_wsgi preconfigured'. Ok. A clarification on your last sentence -- 'and perhaps a nice user interface in web2py to add new virtual hosts.' Do you mean -- A) That a new instance of a unused web2py VM is spawned? Or, B) That Web2Py would trigger the creation/cloning of its own instance? (A) is possible from a web2py interface. One could even have Web2Py manage the creation of a clone of an existing unused instance. Downside is that the clone process can take 2-3min depending on VM size. However (B) is not, as the VM instance that Web2Py is running on has to be turned off in order to do the cloning of the instance. A little clarification if you would please. But this gives me a germ of a future project. One could have a master Web2Py controller appliance running on the Host OS and one or many slave VM instances that the controller would instantiate by either time periods or load. Hmmm.
